ARESVUMA - home of two World Winners

Ones upon a time, a long time ago, one little curious puppy, that changed all our life, that opened a wonderful world for us, jumped into our house. The breed “Rhodesian Ridgeback” was unknown for us that time. In that moment a new planet was born – the planet of Rhodesian Ridgebacks. First it was only a little star in the wide universe. We even did not know its name. We only feel its existence when our pup was growing. Gradually it moved slowly towards the Earth and at last it got its name – ARESVUMA!!! 

“ARESVUMA” is abbreviation. I dedicated the name of my kennel to those people and dogs who are dear for me, who taught me to love and understand ridgebacks, who valued to my decision to be a breeder.

A – is Africa, a beautiful motherland of the breed Rhodesian Ridgeback
RE – is Rens Trappel – the man with wide hart. The real Breeder, who reared my Iringa
S – is Saimon, the father of my Vincent, first ridgeback that I had seen, that made a great impression upon me
VU – is Vumba the most favorite relative of Vincent and Iringa, World Winner, a real dog-legend
MA - is Mariette van der Veer, a person that opened for me a huge world of Ridgebacks.

On the planet ARESVUMA something is changing every day: the dogs are born, grow, take part in the shows for the first time and become Champions. Our slogan is:” Never stay quite on your place!” Every day we open the new parts of our planet, we meet with new friends and learn a new information about our lovely breed. We want to tell about that on our website.
